Music is a force in my life that has helped heal and fill empty space. From occupying the silence in my car to helping me get things done, it's safe to say that it is a top source of comfort.
This past weekend was wild for just about anyone on the internet, not just Frank Ocean fans (like myself). With his highly anticipated comeback & the impressive four year hiatus, the release of two albums (Blond(e) + the visual, Endless), a magazine (Boys Don't Cry), pop up shops, a music video, and a handful of Tumblr posts created a surprise that was everything and more.

Naturally it was pretty tough to narrow it down to five tracks with so much new content. And honestly, 5/5 of the songs were originally all F.O. but I decided to add two that I found this summer and have been adoring while awaiting his arrival back into my music library. With that, I started an Apple Music trial (sorry Spotify) and Blond(e) has been on repeat since Saturday. You already know I've been all over social media doing what fans do best- Rave about it; and here I am again.

Which is your fav on the album?

P.S. Frank might be on more of my playlists to come. Surprise!

Even though Mondays are usually the most dreaded of the week, I look forward to starting off on the right foot with the assistance from the right songs. Maybe these five can help get you moving...? Dancing? Bobbing your head? However you feel, hopefully you find yourself enjoying them as much as I do.

Since having Spotify for some time, I finally caved into purchasing premium. Let me tell you... It's probably one of the best decisions I made this summer. After listening to that one ad at the start of the season, 99 cents for the first three months sold me.
Purpose: I'm going to start sharing five favorite songs/artists that I love and I hope you will to. The theme here? Hm... Powerful female voices that'll help you sleep, move along, and maybe even get to your next destination. Oh, and they're all curated into my playlist that already exists if you're interested. You can find your girl on Spotify here (or search alinasvf / Alina Flawau).

Enjoy friends, and let me know what you've had on repeat! I'm so looking forward to next Monday; I've already got the next five ready for the blog.
